General Manager - Project & Operations - Civil Structural

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and proven leader to head our Clients Operations , driving excellence across Architectural, Civil, Composite & Structural Steel , MEP and BIM projects. This is a General Manager role with full operational ownership, strategic decision-making authority, and the mandate to accelerate business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership & Strategy - Lead the India business, define and execute growth strategies, and drive operational excellence.

- Operational Efficiency - Optimize processes, enhance productivity, and improve profit margins.

- Project Delivery - Oversee large-scale engineering & Design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget control.

- Innovation & Automation - Foster technical adoption, BIM implementation, and process automation for continuous improvement.

- Business Development - Identify and convert new business opportunities in Structural Steel, Civil, and Composite projects across International market and in India.

- Market Expansion - Analyze market trends, explore niche segments, and develop go-to-market strategies.

- Tendering & Contracts - Manage bids, negotiations, and contracts to maximize commercial benefits.

- Stakeholder Engagement - Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.

- Governance & Compliance - Ensure policy implementation, internal audits, and adherence to regulations.

- Client Relations - Engage with key clients to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction. Lead negotiations and manage contracts to secure beneficial outcomes.

Financial Management -Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and reports. Enhance profitability by monitoring financial performance and optimizing resource allocation. Making sure the profitability is managed well.

Requirements:

- Experience: 16+ years in Engineering & Construction, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Industry Expertise: Strong background in Structural, Steel, BIM, Civil & MEP project management.

- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).

- Skills: P&L management, strategic planning, operational leadership, business development, market analysis.

- Languages: English (mandatory), Hindi/Tamil/Telugu/Kannada (advantage).

- Age Range: 40-50 years.
