Job Title: General Manager - PPIC - Exports
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) team to optimize production schedules and inventory levels.
- Develop robust systems and processes to ensure seamless coordination between procurement, production, warehousing, and sales.
- Oversee demand forecasting and capacity planning to ensure timely delivery while minimizing operational costs.
- Analyze production and inventory data to identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective measures where necessary.
- Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams to resolve production bottlenecks and ensure smooth operations.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the PPIC function, tracking progress and presenting insights to the management.
- Optimize inventory management practices to balance stock levels and prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions to improve planning accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Mentor and develop the PPIC team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA/PGDM) in Operations or Supply Chain is highly preferred.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in Production Planning and Inventory Control, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 5 years in Managing exports
- Proven expertise in managing end-to-end PPIC operations in a manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a strategic approach to operational challenges.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
