Job Responsibilities:
- Negotiating, drafting vetting and reviewing high volumes of various contracts with quality inputs, and quick turn-around time. End to end support required- from advisory and to providing legal advice and risk assessments to internal stakeholders.
- Advising and giving in-house legal opinions on a wide variety of issues raised by business, backed by thorough research and judgments on the concerned subject.
- Proactively analyze /identify legal risks and implications of various issues and advising various internal stakeholders and management on it with mitigation plan.
- Monitors law and regulations developments, analyses impacts, and recommends changes where necessary (agreements, policies) and supports the implementation of changes.
- Create legal awareness to internal stakeholders by regular updates/alerts.
- Assist the legal department in streamlining internal processes and develop systems/process for smooth functioning of the business.
- Manage Trademark filings, renewals and oppositions
- Increase awareness and understanding of ethics and compliance in the organization by conducting trainings.
- Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
