General Manager - IT Infrastructure

Our client , a leading and respected brand in a product manufacturing space seeks GM IT Infrastructure.

This role is based in Pune.

Candidate must hold a graduation in computer sciences or electronics or in such related stream. MBA is prefered.

Following are the roles and responsibilities of the candidate :

1. A technocrat with experience in IT Infrastructure, Project management & Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Datacenter N/W Planning & Operations, Cloud Deployments, Security, Service Delivery, Systems, Database, Network, ERP-SAP R/3, Oracle EBS and Telco Application Administration.

2. Leadership skills and sound understanding of Computer Systems (Hardware/Software), designing, planning,implementation and operations of IT projects, Capacity & Business continuity, DR sites implementations and IT Budgets.

3. Must have held Leadership positions in large Conglomerates.

4. Experience in Cloud technology deployments (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud), Virtualizations, diversified IT setups of HP/EMC/IBM SAN arrays and various Backup Technologies,

5. Must have handled IT Compliance & Security Audits projects.

6. Experience in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solution implementation, End User Asset management, managed largenumberof systems on Windows, Sun, HP, Linux platforms.

7. Long term global international work experience in managing full life cycle ERP implementation,upgradation and maintenance in large-scale Telco/Manufacturing companies.

8. Aligning IT with business, turn around IT organizations and improve effectiveness

9. Assisting top management in planning IT strategies

10. Expertise in major aspects of IT Management covering Strategy, Projects, Operations, Procurement & Financial Management. PMP & ITIL certified with knowledge of Six Sigma practices and Project management technologies.

- IT Infrastructure Projects & Operations - Datacentre Project Planning, Engineering & Operations

- System, Network & Database Administration - Storage & Backup architecture Implementation

- Capacity Planning, DR design & implementation - SAP R/3 & Oracle EBS ERP Implementation/product support

- IT Account Service Delivery - Virtualization, Cloud Deployments, Data migrations & HA setup

Incumbent will be reported by a large team of 40+ and is responsible for Pan India operation. Incumbent reports to the CTO.
