Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies and policies in alignment with corporate goals, ensuring the organization's talent needs are met effectively.

- Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a high-performance culture.

- Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance metrics for HR functions, including employee retention, recruitment effectiveness, employee satisfaction, training outcomes, and compliance.

- Regularly assess HR performance and adjust strategies to meet organizational goals.

- Overseeing Plant Operations: Manage HR activities across multiple plant locations (3 plants).

- Ensure smooth operations, compliance, and employee relations management at each plant, fostering consistency and alignment across locations.

- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Oversee recruitment, selection, and retention strategies to ensure the acquisition of top talent.

- Lead manpower planning, succession planning, and career development initiatives.

- Employee Relations & Labor Management: Manage employee relations by fostering a positive work environment, resolving conflicts, and handling union negotiations and agreements.

- Ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes.

- Industrial Relations (IR): Develop and implement industrial relations strategies to maintain harmonious relationships with labor unions, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

- Manage union negotiations, settlements, and agreements, focusing on minimizing disruptions and enhancing employee satisfaction.

- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements related to labor laws, employee benefits, and payroll.

- Oversee HR compliance and audits to mitigate risks.

- Compensation & Benefits: Administer and optimize compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.

- Training & Development: Implement and drive employee development programs, including performance management, competency mapping, and leadership training.

- Organizational Development: Drive organizational change and development initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and promote growth.

- Lead culture-building activities and employee engagement programs.

- HR Information Systems (HRIS): Maintain and enhance HRIS to ensure accurate and timely data management for decision-making processes.

- Greenfield Projects & Start-ups: Lead HR activities for new projects, including the establishment of HR infrastructure, obtaining necessary licenses, and setting up HR processes in new locations.

- Employee Welfare & Engagement: Ensure employee welfare activities are in place and engage employees through welfare programs, health surveys, and regular counseling.

- Budgeting & Reporting: Oversee HR budgets, reporting, and other administrative functions, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Qualifications:

- Full time MBA/PGDM.

- Additional qualifications in Labour Laws, Training & Development, or HR-related fields preferred.

- Over 10+ years of experience in HR, with a proven track record in managing HR functions in manufacturing, industrial environments.

- Extensive experience in union negotiations, handling large teams, and managing HR in Greenfield projects.

- Expertise in HRIS, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Relations.

- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
