ROLES & RESPONSIBILIES:

A. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Financial MIS:
- Prepare and analyze financial performance reports (monthly, quarterly and year-to-date).
- Develop management MIS frameworks and coordinate business performance reviews with the CEO.
- Monthly and Quarterly financial reviews with MD & CEO and CFO - AFS.
- Prepare board presentations that highlight organizational performance and strategies.
Financial Planning:
- Develop and review upcoming quarter financial plans with senior management and oversee deployment.
- Drive long-term strategic business financial planning.
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives under Project Transcend.
- Develop and monitor budgeting and scenario planning models.
Risk Management: Establish and maintain enterprise risk management frameworks to identify and mitigate various risks effectively.
Digitization & Analytics:
- Build financial dashboards and integrate advanced analytics for performance insights.
- Utilize Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and automation tools to streamline processes.
Performance Metrics:
- Monitor financial parameters under the Balance Score Card framework.
- Drive policy deployment initiatives under the framework issued by CFO - AFS.
B. Sales & Marketing Accounts:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's market performance and the current state of the automotive industry.
- Lead the order to cash (O2C) process for the company
- Create robust financial statements and reports to communicate various sales, budgeting and forecasting models. Oversee all financial aspects of the sale & marketing team, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and risk management.
- Ensure accuracy of financial information and assist in the preparation of accurate budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain internal controls, making sure that financial policies are adhered to and that adequate internal controls are in place. Ensure compliance with relevant professional standards, laws and regulations.
- Plan and manage the group's resources and working capital requirements. Create financial strategies and plans to maximize profitability. Identify areas for potential cost savings and monitor sales and marketing performance to ensure budgets targets are met
- Establish relationships with external stakeholders and banks, communicating the company's financial position and performance. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Negotiate contracts and develop strategies to improve the financial performance of the marketing team.
- Act as the financial advisor for the team, providing key insights and advice on short-term and long-term financial strategies for achieving business objectives. Prepare and present proposals and business cases to senior management
- Work collaboratively with other departments including sales, marketing, operations, and product management to ensure the company's overall success.
- Monitor and assess market trends and other developments in the automotive industry and make recommendations to the team accordingly. Benchmark competition pricing to ensure competitive positioning.
- Define pricing frameworks for new products and refreshes and implement timely price increases.
- Analyse financial data and provide timely and accurate financial reports to the management team.
- Spares parts contribution & Pricing
Functional Skills & Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15-18 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the automotive or multi-business sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, Indian Accounting Standards, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in SAP and other financial IT systems.
- Expertise in financial benchmarking, budgeting, risk management, and cost optimization.
- Ability to set up standard accounting systems and processes with tight month-end reporting deadlines.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, transfer knowledge, and manage relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, innovative, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop long-term financial strategies and align organizational resources to achieve business objectives.
- Experience in managing enterprise risk frameworks effectively.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics tools and RPA for process improvement and business insights.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams and ensure harmonious relationships with stakeholders.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to balance financial goals with operational efficiency.
- High adaptability to market trends and dynamic business environments
