Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive General Manager - Finance to lead our finance function in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA with 5 to 8 years of experience, demonstrating strong expertise in financial management, cost control, compliance, and ERP systems. The role involves close collaboration with production, procurement, and leadership teams to ensure financial efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Strategy:

- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

- Provide strategic financial inputs to the leadership team for business planning and expansion.

2. Cost & Inventory Control

- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, product pricing, and profitability.

- Implement cost control measures and efficiency improvements across production processes.

- Ensure accurate valuation and control of inventory, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

3. Financial Reporting

- Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with Ind AS.

- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual closures with detailed MIS reports for management.

4. Compliance & Taxation

- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, etc.).

- Coordinate with auditors (statutory, internal, and tax) and ensure timely completion of audits.

5. Treasury & Working Capital Management

- Manage working capital requirements, including receivables, payables, and cash flow.

- Optimize fund utilization, banking relationships, and credit lines.

6. Internal Controls & Process Improvements

- Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and SOPs within the finance function.

- Drive automation and integration of finance operations with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally).

7. Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team, ensuring performance, training, and development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing setup.

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, plant accounting, and inventory management.

- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP, Oracle, or Tally ERP).

- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Desirable Attributes:

- Exposure to factory operations and plant finance.

- Experience in handling capex, budgeting for large projects, and dealing with regulatory bodies.

- Hands-on experience in dealing with banking, credit facilities, and treasury functions.
