Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate cost models for various construction
- Analyze project requirements, plans, and specifications to identify labor, material, equipment, and service requirements.
- Use benchmark data, trends, and historical pricing to generate detailed cost estimates.
- Implement workflows and systems for scheduling and processing estimate requests and communicating with stakeholders.
- Prepare cost estimation for Bid & contract revisions
- Participate in the administration of bids, inquiry documents, scope of work & schedule related to the job.
- Create Bills of material & Proposals
- Identify the areas for improvement in the cost estimation process & Implement solutions
- Develop & manage project budgets, ensuring project stays within financial constraints
- Track Actual Cost against estimated costs & identify potential cost variations
- Propose and implement strategies to mitigate cost overruns
- Implement work flows and systems for scheduling and processing estimate requests and communicating with stakeholders
