Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Logistics, specializing in container shipping.

Experienced to lead collaborations with global logistics and port infrastructure to streamline container movement with structure innovative trade finance solutions. The role requires strategic thinking and hands-on coordination of logistics, container shipping, and financial facilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Management/ Container Movement & Partnership Development:

- Ensure timely delivery and cost-effective logistics solutions. Managed end-to-end freight forwarding operations for export shipments.

- Coordinating with Shipping lines for collaboration if any for data scrubbing.

- Collaborate with logistics partner to optimize routes. Managing strategic partnerships with global logistics company

- Develop long-term collaboration with port operators and bonded warehouses & Liaise with port operator, shipping lines to secure container availability

- Engaged in basic customer service tasks, including coordination with vendors and clients. To co-ordinate & follow up with the operations / customer service team on bookings & shipment status.

Marketing Strategies:

- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote container shipping services.

- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

- Collaborate with sales teams to generate leads and support business development efforts.

- Provide insights into container shipping trends, and cross-border logistics risks.

- Support commercial teams by providing logistical inputs and client onboarding.

- Develop penetration marketing strategies with Shipping lines for data and on how to grow business.

Customer Relations:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

- Address inquiries and provide exceptional service to ensure satisfaction.

- Client-Centric Approach: Advocates for a client-centric approach in financial services, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet client needs, with a strong emphasis on relationship management over operational roles.

Educational Qualification / Work Experience & Skills :

- PG / MBA degree in Logistics, Marketing, or a related field. A solid understanding of the container shipping process and regulations.

- Proven 10 yrs+ experience in logistics management, preferably within the container shipping industry.

- Excellent communication. negotiation and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

- Strong understanding of international shipping practices, port operations, and freight movement.
