Title: GM - B2G (Business to Government)
Reporting to: Director - Sales
Location: Mumbai
Key responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Decide and implement sales strategy
- Lead B2G domestic sales, targeting public sector companies in vital sectors like Oil & Gas, Power, Railways, Defense, BFSI, Infrastructures, MNCs, etc.
- Capable of handling different verticals.
- Develop and maintain high-level government relationships, including with ministry officials.
- Achieve ambitious sales targets adhering to legal and ethical standards.
- Oversee tender participation
- Conduct regular reviews of the sales team to ensure the target is achieved by all the members.
Candidate Requirements:
- An engineering degree is a must, with an MBA preferable.
- Must have experience selling firefighting projects to government PSU companies, including Oil & Gas, Railways, Power, Defense, Tunnels, Steel Plants, and Automatic Energy for 20 years.
- Proven B2G sales track record: must have booked orders from PSU companies of Rs. 200 CR per annum.
- Must have handled a sales team of a minimum of 20 people of different verticals.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- OK for frequent travel (40-50% of the time)
- Fluency in English, spoken and written.
