Position - GM/AVP - Manufacturing Engineering
Job Location - Karnataka. (We are looking candidates from Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune only)
Current CTC - Your current Ctc should be in between 30-50 LPA
Qualification - BE/B. Tech
Mandatory Skills:
1. Tool Design and fabrication
2. Quality Engineering
3. Engineering digitalization and process design
4. Should be from electronics manufacturing or Defence/Aerospace Industry
5. Must have 18+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering with strong background in CNC, NX, Precision etc.
Skills:
- Good communication skills with leadership qualities, coach, mentor and develop team members; Adherence to commitments and goals with sense of urgency.
- Strong project management skills with problem solvingskills.
- Building teams for Green Field Projects.
- Experience in CNC programming, NX preferred.
- Experience in tool, CNC fixture design & concepts.
- Knowledge of special & non special process requirements of surface treatment (polishing, ablation, anodization)
- Knowledge of Quality standards and continuous improvement concepts.
- Lead, develop and grow a diversely skilled engineering team with process focused verticals
- Lead the process development of precision engineering parts involving CNC machining, stamping / press operations, finishing operations (like blasting, polishing, tumbling etc) and small component assembly
- Drive a team of fixture designers, CAM programmers, cutting tool developers, process qualification engineers & assembly line engineers for a very large scale operation
- Drive standardization of engineering processes, analytical problem solving, failure analysis and corrective actions
- Collaborate with operations, quality and other process and design teams to integrate learnings across the line into a scalable product
- Lead cycle time optimisation initiatives and continuous improvement of cutting path / tool selection / MCM programming and achieve the targeted capacities and product cost
- Lead the development of cleaning and surface finishing processes (including but not limited to processes like ultrasonic cleaning, sand blasting, surface treatment etc)
- Champion the strong use of statistical tools (like JMP and Minitab) to analyse process data & lead systematic DMAIC approach for process improvement
- Work closely with sub-tier Designs for Manufacturing (DFMs) impacting process design and development - fixtures, cutting tools, stamping tools, jigs, injection moulds, inserts etc
- Routinely interact with customer to present process findings, data and analysis; recommend process improvements and ideas for improving yields and process consistency
- Get involved in cross functional discussions to review and approve procurement of machines and equipment (including capital ROI analysis) as and when new processes or products are added.
