General Manager - Accounts & Taxation - Biopharmaceutical Firm - CA

Role Title: GM- Accounts & Taxation

Location: Bangalore

Reporting to: CFO

Team size: 3 direct & 4 indirect reportees

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Will be responsible for Financial Reporting, Auditing, Taxation (both DT & IDT), Finalization of Accounts, Annual report preparation, Stat Audit & Internal Audit, Income Tax and GST assessments, etc.

2. Statutory and management financial reporting

3. Handling statutory and internal audits

4. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations

5. Managing direct and indirect taxation including assessments

6. Finalization of books of accounts and annual reports

7. Internal & External Stakeholder Management

Preferred Skills/Expertise:

1. CA qualified with 10+ years of experience, preferably in Manufacturing industry.

2. Must have handled atleast 2 cycles of Annual Reports in a Manufacturing setup.

3. Must have strong background in accounting, audit, and taxation.

4. Expertise in Income Tax and GST assessments.

5. Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

6. Strong experience in stakeholder management.
