Job Description

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our dynamic team in Bangladesh. This role focuses on Knits, Woven, New Jersey, and Newborn categories. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability by developing high-quality, innovative products aligned with UK market trends. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with UK Buying and Design teams to understand market trends and customer needs.

- Manage and deliver virtual presentations, customer visits, and buying trips while ensuring high-impact engagement.

- Stay updated on UK fashion trends and integrate them into product development strategies.

- Work closely with Fabric Sourcing to ensure key seasonal fabrics are delivered on time.

- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets for the Bangladesh market.

- Evaluate the supplier base and onboard new suppliers where needed.

- Conduct supplier visits and provide market intelligence to UK teams to showcase Bangladeshs sourcing capabilities.

- Set and monitor sales budgets for relevant product categories.

- Work closely with the Merchandising and Technical teams to ensure seamless execution of product development.

- Ensure accurate and timely development samples and price quotes in line with the Critical Path.

- Lead and motivate the team, ensuring a balanced workload distribution.

- Adapt to evolving market conditions and maintain high service standards.

- Align team goals with the company's strategic vision.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Experience: Minimum 5-8 years in Product Development / Buying / Design (preferably in apparel/textiles).

- Market Exposure: Experience working with the UK market is an advantage.

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a design-related field is preferred.

- Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of Knits, Woven, New Jersey, and Newborn product categories.

- Communication: Strong command of spoken and written English.

- Leadership: Excellent team management, decision-making, and planning abilities.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop competitive product strategies.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, negotiation, and multi-tasking skills.
