Fundamental Equity Research Analyst - CA/CFA

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and evaluate trading ideas driven by fundamental catalysts or valuation-based insights across listed equities.

- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on investment opportunities, including valuation analysis for both primary and secondary equity offerings.

- Analyse financial statements, industry dynamics, and business models to identify mispriced or overlooked opportunities.

- Create detailed investment memos and recommendations with clear articulation of investment thesis, risk factors, and return expectations.

- Monitor portfolio companies, track corporate events, and stay updated with relevant regulatory, market, and macro developments.

- Interact with company management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts to gather market intelligence and validate assumptions.

- Maintain and enhance internal financial models and valuation tools for screening and benchmarking purposes.

- Collaborate with the Fund Manager to refine portfolio positioning based on fundamental views.

Preferred candidate profile - A qualified Chartered accountant or CFA holder with minimum 7 years post-qualification experience into fundamental equity research analysis.
