Fund Manager

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead and manage an equity fund with a strong focus on the BFSI sector for a leading financial services group in India with a strong presence across broking, asset management, investment banking, and wealth management.

The role involves creating and executing investment strategies that capitalize on opportunities within the pharma industry, while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks.

Reporting to: Executive Director.

Responsibilities:

Generation of product ideas

- Responsible for strategy formulation during re-balance of the portfolio fortnightly basis, inclusion and exclusion of index constituents on a quarterly, and semi-annually basis to reduce the impact on the scheme.

- Monitor regulatory changes to ensure fund compliance or to capitalize on development opportunities and generate income by lending stock.

- Direct development of offering documents and reviewing the same to ensure regulatory compliance.

- Provide ad-hoc analysis and development of new products and existing products with the research analyst team.

- Adhere to the SEBI guidelines and the company's internal Risk Management Framework.

- Coordinating with different stakeholders.

- Participate in investor communication, roadshows, and client meetings as needed.

Role requirements:

- Sound knowledge of Equity markets.

- MBA, CA.

- 15+ years of work experience in equity investment.

- Exceptional analytical skills.
