Oracle EBS Projects Functional Consultant
Experience: 7+ Years (Remote - India)
- As an Oracle EBS Projects Functional Consultant, you'll specialize in the comprehensive implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite Project modules.
- Your expertise will enable organizations to effectively manage project lifecycles, from inception and costing to billing and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Definition: Lead detailed requirements gathering sessions with project management teams, finance departments, and other stakeholders to understand their project costing, billing, management, and reporting needs.
- Module Configuration: Configure and implement Oracle EBS Project modules, including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Management, and Project Contracts, ensuring alignment with business processes and best practices.
- Solution Design: Develop comprehensive functional design documents for system enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICEW) related to Projects.
- Testing & Training: Design and execute unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios.
- Provide in-depth training and support to end-users on project-related functionalities.
- Support & Optimization: Provide ongoing post-implementation support, troubleshoot complex functional issues, and identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements within the Project modules.
- Integration: Collaborate closely with other functional teams (e. , Financials, HRMS, SCM) to ensure seamless integration between Project modules and other EBS applications.
- Reporting: Assist in the design and development of project performance reports and dashboards using Oracle EBS reporting tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive functional experience with Oracle EBS Projects modules (R12 preferred), with a proven track - record of successful implementations.
- Deep understanding of project lifecycle management, including project setup, resource management, time and expense entry, budgeting, forecasting, costing, billing, and revenue recognition.
- Strong knowledge of integration points between Oracle Projects and other EBS modules like GL, AP, AR, PO, and HRMS.
- Ability to analyze complex business problems and translate them into effective Oracle EBS solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master's degree (e. , MBA, MS in Project Management) is highly desirable
