Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant
- As an Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant, you'll be a key player in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite Financial modules.
- You'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand their financial processes and translate those needs into robust, efficient system solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with finance teams and business users to thoroughly understand, document, and analyze their current financial processes and future requirements.
- Solution Design & Configuration: Design and configure Oracle EBS Financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Cost Management, etc. ) to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Functional Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop comprehensive test plans and scripts, execute functional and integration testing, and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions are robust and meet business specifications.
- User Training & Support: Conduct workshops and provide in-depth training to end-users, creating clear documentation and job aids.
- Offer post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
- Collaboration & Integration: Work seamlessly with technical teams for custom solution development, data migrations, system integrations, and reporting requirements.
- Documentation & Optimization: Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, business processes, and user guides.
- Continuously identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvements.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate project status, risks, and solutions to stakeholders at all levels.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong functional experience with Oracle EBS Financials (R12 preferred), demonstrating in-depth knowledge across multiple core modules.
- Proven ability to lead or actively participate in full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials implementations or significant enhancement projects.
- In-depth understanding of finance business processes, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and financial reporting.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to dissect complex financial challenges and propose effective Oracle solutions.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master's degree (e. , MBA, MS in IT/Finance) is a plus
