Flipkart - Manager - Instock Team

Key Responsibilities:

- Inventory Management: Manage and optimize inventory levels across multiple dark stores and DBEFM (Dairy, Bread, Eggs, Fresh Meat) categories. Implement best practices for stock allocation, transfers, and replenishment.

- Out-of-Stock (OOS) Reduction: Analyze OOS trends and root causes. Develop and execute strategies to minimize OOS occurrences, working closely with procurement, supply chain, and operations teams.

- Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with the demand planning team to improve forecasting accuracy. Use data to anticipate demand fluctuations and prepare for seasonal peaks and promotional events.

- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key metrics such as in-stock rate, weeks of cover, OOS rate, and inventory turns. Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

- System Optimization: Leverage and optimize inventory management systems (IMS) and other tech tools to automate processes and improve efficiency. Identify opportunities for system enhancements.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for all in-stock matters. Work effectively with commercial teams (category managers) to ensure new products are launched smoothly and with a healthy stock position.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a similar role, preferably within a quick commerce, e-commerce, or retail background.

- Data Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into actionable insights. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power-BI and similar tools is a plus.

- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving inventory challenges.

- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering.
