Fixed Income Trade Support/Derivative/Trade Confirmation/Reconciliation Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Reconcile traders' risk products and positions with firm books and records; investigate and resolve breaks.



Perform broker reconciliations and resolve exceptions by liaising with Sales, Traders, or Brokers.



Execute trade compression activities to support capital optimization.



Monitor and process structured notes life cycle events (rate fixings, coupon payments, final redemptions).



Manage industry-wide compression processes (LCH, Trioptima, CME, coupon blends, internal transfers).



Investigate and resolve realized cash flow breaks.



Produce and distribute exception reports requiring action.



Perform trade allocations, rate resets, rate fixings, notices, and amendments.



Monitor system error queues to ensure smooth trade flow.



Reconcile upstream and downstream systems to ensure complete trade processing.



Collaborate with regional OTC Middle Office teams, Business Units, IT, and support functions to ensure effective controls and timely resolution of issues.



Required Skills & Qualifications



2-5 years of experience in financial services with strong trade support and derivatives operations background.



Solid understanding of OTC derivatives and fixed income derivative products (e.g., CDS, Interest Rate Swaps, FX).



Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.



Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.



Effective communication skills to liaise with traders, brokers, and internal stakeholders.



Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.



Proficiency in trade support systems, reconciliations, and MS Excel.



Education



Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.



Master's degree is mandatory.



Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, or similar) would be an advantage.
