We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fixed Income Research Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in credit derivatives, corporate credit, and the CLO space, combined with robust technical skills in data analysis. This role requires the ability to synthesize complex market information, perform detailed credit research, and deliver actionable insights to support investment decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis across fixed income markets, with a focus on credit derivatives, corporate credit, and CLOs.
- Evaluate large and complex datasets, applying statistical and quantitative models to identify trends, risks, and investment opportunities.
- Prepare research reports, thematic insights, and sector commentary to support trading and investment strategies.
- Collaborate closely with investment teams, providing data-driven perspectives for portfolio positioning.
- Maintain ongoing surveillance of portfolios and monitor key credit metrics, market developments, and risk exposures.
- Contribute to team discussions by presenting findings in a clear and actionable manner.
Basic Qualifications:
- A degree in Finance or equivalent (MBA, CFA) with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Solid knowledge of fixed income research, specifically in credit derivatives, corporate credit, and CLOs.
- Strong technical proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and apply statistical models to generate insights.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior experience with a fixed income strategy role, on either the sell side or buy side.
