Responsibilities:

1. Brand Nomenclature & Voice Development:

- Develop and refine brand naming conventions, taglines, and messaging frameworks.

- Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice across all communication channels.

- Ensure all copy aligns with the brand's personality and target audience.

2. Copywriting & Content Creation:

Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for a variety of mediums, including:

- Advertising (print, digital, broadcast)

- Website and landing pages

- Blog posts and articles

- Social media content

- Email newsletters and marketing campaigns

- Brochures, presentations, and other marketing materials

- Adapt writing style and tone to suit different audiences and platforms.

- Create both long-form and short-form copy with equal proficiency.

3. Strategic Collaboration & Project Management:

- Interpret project briefs to understand objectives, target audiences, and key messaging.

- Collaborate closely with designers, art directors, and other creative team members to develop integrated campaigns.

- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

- Present creative concepts and copy to internal teams and clients.

4. SEO & Digital Optimization:

- Apply SEO principles to optimize copy for search engines and maximize reach.

- Conduct keyword research and integrate relevant keywords into content.

- Understand and implement best practices for digital copywriting.

- Analyze content performance and make recommendations for improvement.

5. Research & Audience Insights:

- Conduct thorough research to understand target audience needs, preferences, and behaviors.

- Use research findings to inform copy strategy and messaging.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

- Analyze competitors' content and messaging.

6. Leadership & Mentorship:

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior copywriters.

- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.

- Contribute to the development of creative processes and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience: 4+ years of professional copywriting experience in an agency or in-house creative environment.

- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of copywriting samples across different mediums.

- Versatility: Proven ability to write for both print and digital assets.

- SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

- Research Skills: Excellent research and analytical skills.

- Language Proficiency: Exceptional grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills.

- Wit & Creativity: A strong sense of humor and the ability to craft engaging and memorable copy.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Presentation Skills: Ability to present creative concepts and ideas effectively.

- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs).

- Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
