Chartered Accountant with 10 to 15 yrs experience in Hotel Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes; monitor variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives from a financial perspective.
- Manage and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Utilize financial systems and tools to improve reporting and decision-making.
