About the Role:
This role is ideal for someone with a strong financial background, exceptional modeling skills, and a passion for turning data into actionable insights that support business growth and sustainability.
The Finance Strategist will work closely with senior leadership across departments to provide data-driven recommendations, optimize capital allocation, and support long-term strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, new opportunities, and risk assessments.
- Analyze key financial and operational metrics to provide insights and recommendations for improving profitability and efficiency.
Business Strategy Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, operations, marketing) to align financial goals with broader business strategies.
- Evaluate investment proposals, M&A opportunities, new markets, and business lines from a financial
and strategic standpoint.
- Support decision-making on pricing, cost structures, and capital expenditure planning.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance updates to leadership.
- Provide variance analysis and identify areas of improvement across revenue, costs, and capital deployment.
Capital Allocation & Fund Management:
- Liaise with external investors, lenders, and other stakeholders as needed for fundraising or financial due diligence.
- Evaluate financing options and structure to support business growth while minimizing risk.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and internal policies.
- Support audits, compliance processes, and investor reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or strategic finance roles.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Deep understanding of financial statements, business drivers, and market dynamics.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools (experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle ambiguity, work independently, and lead strategic projects end-to-end.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
