About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Specialist with strong expertise in real estate, urban development, and government-funded projects (World Bank / ADB, etc. The role requires a proven track record in managing project finances, compliance, and reporting while driving financial progress and ensuring alignment with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Strategy

- Develop, monitor, and implement financial strategies to support revenue generation and cost optimization.

- Analyze project viability, budgets, and fund allocation for large-scale real estate or urban development projects.

Accounting & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to ICAI rules, accounting principles, and best practices.

- Handle statutory compliances, financial audits, and tax-related matters.

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, MIS reports, and project accounts.

Project Finance & Monitoring

- Track the financial progress of projects, ensuring compliance with funding agency (World Bank / ADB) guidelines.

- Evaluate financial models, lending rates, investment proposals, and risk assessments.

- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and government agencies for financial approvals.

Stakeholder Management

- Liaise with internal and external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

- Provide financial insights to senior leadership for decision-making.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

- Timely preparation and submission of financial statements and project reports.

- 100% compliance with ICAI, statutory, and project-specific financial regulations.

- Effective monitoring of financial progress against project milestones.

- Cost optimization and efficient fund utilization within approved budgets.

- Accurate forecasting, budgeting, and risk mitigation in financial operations.

- Strong collaboration with stakeholders ensuring transparency and accountability.

Skills & Competencies

- In-depth knowledge of ICAI rules & regulations.

- Strong understanding of Prime Lending Rates, Investments, Revenue Strategies, and Market Dynamics.

- Proficiency in accounting principles, statutory compliances, and best practices.

- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and financial modeling skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Candidate

- Professionals with prior experience in real estate projects, urban development, or government-funded projects (World Bank / ADB, etc.
