Finance Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Specialist to support our finance and operations team in Ranchi.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial analysis, reporting, compliance, budgeting, and providing data-driven insights to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
This role is ideal for professionals with 2 to 4 years of experience in the financial services or banking sector, especially with exposure to NBFC or RBI-regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & MIS:
- Prepare and maintain timely and accurate financial reports, MIS dashboards, and business performance summaries.
- Consolidate data from various business units and provide monthly/quarterly reports to management.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Monitor financial KPIs and suggest corrective actions where necessary.
Credit & Risk Analysis:
- Support credit assessment processes, including financial due diligence and risk evaluation of borrowers.
- Analyze loan portfolio performance and highlight areas of concern or improvement.
Audit, Compliance & Regulatory Reporting:
- Assist in internal and external audit processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Support timely RBI and NBFC regulatory filings and ensure adherence to financial compliance standards.
Operational Finance Support:
- Coordinate with internal departments (disbursement, collections, treasury) to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation for financial transactions.
Data Analysis & Profitability Insights:
- Perform financial and operational data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and profitability levers.
- Collaborate with management to implement cost-control and performance-improvement strategies.
Candidate Requirements:
- MBA in Finance from a recognized institute.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in financial services, NBFC, banking, or audit domains.
- Good understanding of NBFC operations, RBI regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and MIS reporting tools.
- Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems is a plus.
