Job Purpose:

The Finance Manager will support all financial and cost accounting activities at Mahad cluster, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, cost management, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. This role is a key partner to the plant operations team and ensures financial efficiency and performance.

Role and Responsibilities

i. Execute day-to-day finance operations of the plant

ii. Ensure proper booking of expenses to cost centres and review/re fix absorption rates

iii. Controlling of expenses at Site level.

iv. Prepare and circulate monthly MIS reports to plant and corporate stakeholders

v. Working with stakeholders to comply with all financials regulations and obligations at the plant

vi. Oversee and continuously evaluate the allocation of costs for arriving at variable costs and allocation of Fixed costs to different plants to enable development of Plant wise/Cluster wise P&L.

vii. Work with internal audit team as well as initiate action on their own to stress test the control procedures at plant

viii. Support plant leadership in evaluating CAPEX proposals, productivity projects, and costreduction initiatives.

Required Knowledge:

i. Knowledge of SAP as an end user for posting as well as reviewing reports

ii. Good understanding of costing and accounting principles

iii. Excel Skills

iv. Working with senior stakeholders

Education & Experience

Education Essential: CA/ICWA/MBA in Finance

Experience Essential: 3-5 years of experience in Plant / Site Finance & Controlling
