About the Role:
We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our fast-paced manufacturing-focused agri-biotech startup. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll work closely with senior management to oversee financial strategy, optimize unit economics, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control operational and project costs effectively
- Coordinate internal and statutory audits; ensure timely compliance and reporting
- Work with banks and financial institutions to raise and manage debt cashflows.
- Identify, evaluate, and apply for relevant government and private sector schemes, subsidies, and incentives
- Negotiate vendor contracts and commercial terms to align with financial goals
- Monitor and optimize cash flows, working capital, and financial health metrics
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and managing the company's P&L
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Provide financial insights and timely MIS for internal and investor reporting
- Optimize unit economics and profitability across product lines and customer segments
- Partner with cross-functional teams to track KPIs and support strategic decision-making
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-5 years of relevant experience working in manufacturing industries, investor firms or CA firms.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred
- Hands-on experience in managing debt, financial modeling, and government liaisoning
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, compliance, and cash flow management
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
