Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).
- Implement and manage a thorough review process for all balance sheet accounts.
- Drive the timely and smooth completion of annual audits by coordinating with external auditors.
Internal Controls & Audit Management
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
- Conduct regular internal audits to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies to address queries and enhance governance practices.
Financial Analysis & Strategic Decision Support
- Prepare and analyze key financial metrics, delivering insightful reports to leadership for informed decision- making.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability, cost optimization, and risk assessment, to drive business growth.
- Develop forecasts and financial models to assess business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide ad-hoc financial insights to support critical business decisions.
Cash Flow & Financial Planning
- Monitor and manage cash flow by preparing forecasts and recommending strategies for optimization.
- Ensure efficient working capital management, including accounts receivable, payable, and inventory.
- Identify cost-saving initiatives and recommend financial strategies to improve profitability.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Chartered Accountant with 4-5 years of experience in accounting and audit functions.
- Proven expertise in financial statement preparation, Ind AS, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, QuickBooks, Netsuite) and accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or e-commerce industries is a plus!
