Accounts & Finance Head

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Accounts & Finance Head to lead our finance function. Based in Faridabad, this critical role will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring robust accounting practices, strategic financial planning, and compliance within the healthcare services industry. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong track record in financial management, team leadership, and driving process improvements.


Key Responsibilities

- Full-Spectrum Oversight of Accounting Operations: Take complete charge of all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

- Financial Reporting & Closing: Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.

- Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Oversee all aspects of tax filings and ensure strict adherence to statutory compliance requirements, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), corporate tax, and other relevant financial regulations.

- Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control: Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts. Conduct variance analysis, identify areas for cost optimization, and implement effective cost control measures to enhance financial performance.

- Stakeholder Liaison & Audit Support: Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders including banks, financial institutions, statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax advisors. Facilitate and support financial audits, due diligence processes, and other financial reviews.

- Process Improvement & Automation: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes, reporting mechanisms, and internal controls. Drive initiatives for automation and efficiency within the finance department.

- Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounts team. This includes responsibility for hiring, training, performance monitoring, setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.

Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business decision-making.


Required Qualifications

- Education: B.Com/M.Com (Bachelor of Commerce / Master of Commerce) from a recognized university. Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are highly preferred.

- Experience: 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in Accounts and Finance, with significant experience in a leadership role.

- Industry Experience: Proven experience within the Healthcare Services industry is mandatory.

- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of accounting principles (Indian GAAP/IFRS), financial reporting standards, and taxation laws.

- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a finance team.

- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.

- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle Financials) and advanced MS Excel skills.
