Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations: Billing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), Cost Accounting, Revenue Recognition.

- Oversee day-to-day financial transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

- Lead the month-end and year-end financial close process.

- Prepare financial statements: income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Policies, Processes & Controls

- Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies, SOPs, and internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain data integrity.

- Streamline and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls for efficiency and

effectiveness.

- Research and apply technical accounting standards (IND AS, IFRS) to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Deliver detailed financial reports and MIS dashboards for stakeholders and management.

- Analyse financial data to monitor expenditures, assess performance, and forecast revenues.

- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis aligned with strategic goals.

- Support data-driven decision-making through financial modelling and scenario planning.

Compliance & Audit

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and central government regulations, including direct and indirect taxation.

- Manage statutory reporting, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.

- Coordinate internal, statutory, and external audits; resolve audit findings promptly.

Strategic Finance & Risk Management

- Evaluate financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

- Formulate and execute financial strategies aligned with long-term company goals.

- Manage capital structure: private equity, ECB loans, NCDs, and international financing sources.

- Provide strategic inputs for investment decisions, cost optimization, and capital allocation.

Leadership & Collaboration

- Lead functions: Finance, Accounts, MIS, and Taxation.

- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial and business goals.

- Handle additional controllership responsibilities as needed.
