Finance Head

About the Role:

The current incumbent is retiring and the client is looking for a suitably qualified & experienced finance professional to replace him as the Finance Head for the gallery. The role is responsible for both the finance & accounts functions and will be based at the gallery office in Defence Colony, New Delhi.

- Accounts Finalization: Oversee quarterly, half-yearly, and annual accounts. Strong knowledge of Ind AS and ERP systems for reporting and reconciliation.

- Audits: Manage statutory, internal, cost, and GST audits.

- Banking & Fund Management: Expertise in Fund raising,and dealing with Banks/FIs. CMA data preparation, and compliance filings for fund limits.

- Taxation: Manage Tax Planning . Direct taxes (ITR, TDS returns and correspondences) and Indirect taxes (GST filings).

- MIS Reporting: Provide detailed financial reports to management for strategic decision-making.

- Budgeting & Internal Controls: Oversee budgeting and ensure strong internal controls including inventory management.

- Compliance: Ensure MCA filings and Secretarial compliances.

About the Candidate:

- The suitable candidate would preferably be a qualified female finance professional.

- Education & Certifications: Qualified CA / MBA in Finance

Experience:

- At least 15 years of total experience with last 3 years in leadership roles

- Experience in raising funds and managing treasury function

- Expertise in Budgeting & Budgetary Control

Functional Competencies:

- Deep functional expertise in managing finance in a similar company

- Treasury & Fund Raising experience

- Knowledge of statutory & regulatory compliance

Leadership Competencies:

- Must have managed finance for companies with revenue in excess of 100cr

- Ability to manage multiple critical projects simultaneously

- Hire & train successful teams
