Finance Controller - Pharma

We are hiring Finance Controller for one the leading Pharmaceutical company

Pharmaceutical experience Mandatory.

Role: Financial Controlling & Reporting, Treasury & Cash Flow Management, Taxation & Regulatory Compliance, Export Incentives & Government Compliance,Group Consolidation & Intercompany Transactions

1. Financial Controlling & Reporting

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

- Prepare and analyze standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with Ind AS/IFRS.

- Ensure the accuracy of all financial provisions, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting schedules.

- Lead external audits; coordinate with statutory auditors and ensure timely closure.

- Ensure full compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

2. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

- Monitor and manage daily cash flows and liquidity across the organization.

- Forecast short-term and long-term cash flows with a high degree of accuracy, incorporating operational, investment, and financing cash needs.

- Manage treasury operations including fund planning, borrowings, interest tracking, and investment decisions.

- Manage foreign currency management including hedging strategies and related documentation.

3. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

- Oversee compliance and filings for direct and indirect taxes (Income Tax, TDS, GST, etc.).

- Lead the Transfer Pricing compliance function, including documentation, filings, and support for assessments.

4. Accounts Payable / Receivable (AP/AR)

- Supervise AR/AP operations, ensuring timely vendor payments and customer collections.

- Review aging reports and monitor credit exposure and working capital cycles.

5. Export Incentives & Government Compliance

- Administer the filing and realization of export incentives such as MEIS, RODTEP, SEIS, etc.

- Liaise with DGFT and other regulatory bodies as required for incentive claims and export documentation.

- Ensure FEMA compliance and all related regulatory filings for cross-border transactions.

6. Group Consolidation & Intercompany Transactions

- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual group consolidation including all subsidiaries.

- Reconcile and eliminate intercompany transactions in consolidation.

- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and reporting timelines.

7. Systems & Process Improvements

- Drive automation and efficiency in financial processes using ERP systems.

- Evaluate, recommend, and implement internal control enhancements.
