Role Summary

As the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the companys financial reporting while driving robust financial controls and compliance. In this strategic role, you will oversee accounting operations, statutory compliance, internal controls, and financial planning, partnering closely with operations, sales, marketing, treasury, and leadership teams to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Controls

- Lead end-to-end financial accounting, reporting, and control processes for the company.

- Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, Ind AS, and statutory requirements.

- Maintain strong internal control systems to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure processes.

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

- Drive annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, aligning with business objectives.

- Monitor budget adherence, analyze variances, and provide corrective recommendations.

- Present financial scenarios and impact assessments to aid decision-making.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

- Deliver accurate, timely MIS reports for leadership and board review.

- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for business improvement.

- Prepare executive dashboards for financial and operational tracking.

Stakeholder & Board Interactions

- Develop board and investor presentation decks, highlighting financial performance and strategic initiatives.

- Support CFO and leadership in investor meetings with detailed analysis and scenario planning.

Compliance & Audit

- Ensure statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance at all times.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.

- Implement process improvements to enhance compliance efficiency.

Desired Skills & Experience

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.

- Experience: 5- 8 years in finance, accounting, FP&A, or controllership roles, preferably in consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing.

- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and ERP systems.

- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data and present actionable insights.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.

- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior decision-makers.
