Finacle Project Manager - Banking

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Finacle Project Manager to lead large-scale banking technology programs, with a strong focus on Finacle Core Banking implementations and operations.

The ideal candidate will have deep domain knowledge of banking systems, proven program management expertise, and experience managing PMO functions in complex, high-volume environments such as scheduled commercial banks with nationwide operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Program Management: Lead end-to-end delivery of Finacle Core Banking transformation, upgrade, or migration projects across multiple business units and regions.

- PMO Leadership: Manage and lead PMO functions including planning, governance, risk management, reporting, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with senior stakeholders, banking clients, technical teams, and vendors to ensure alignment with business goals and project milestones.

- 24x7 Operational Oversight: Participate in managing critical Finacle operations as part of a 24x7 support and delivery team, ensuring service levels are maintained at all times.

- Governance & Compliance: Ensure all project activities align with industry standards and regulatory compliance, following structured frameworks (ITIL4, PMP, Prince2, etc.

- Team Management: Mentor and guide cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality and timely project outcomes.

- Documentation & Reporting: Develop comprehensive documentation such as project plans, risk logs, change requests, and executive summaries.

Maintain accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Commerce.

- Postgraduate qualifications such as MBA, MCA, PGDCM are preferred.

- 15+ years of overall experience in IT and banking technology, with at least 10 years in PMO or program management roles.

- Demonstrated experience as a Program Manager in a large-scale banking operations project, preferably with a Scheduled Commercial Bank with 3000+ branches in India in the last 3 years.

Required Skills:

- Deep expertise in Finacle Core Banking Suite (including modules like Finacle 10.x, CRM, Treasury, EOD/BOD, Payments, etc.

- Strong grasp of banking operations, compliance, and digital banking transformation.

- Excellent project planning, execution, risk management, and budgeting capabilities.

- Proficient in MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective client and stakeholder engagement.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
