What are we looking for?

As a Platform Product Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle of our fintech platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of businesses and consumers alike. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our platform remains robust, scalable, and user-friendly.

Your Responsibilities & Impact:

- Identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation through market analysis.

- Monitor competitor products to assess strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation.

- Stay updated on industry regulations to ensure compliance standards are met by product features.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights into customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.

- Collect and synthesize user feedback from diverse sources, including surveys, interviews, and support channels.

- Translate user insights into actionable recommendations for refining and expanding product features.

- Convert user needs and data insights into comprehensive product requirements.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to meticulously document requirements for new features or enhancements, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.

- Defining and prioritising features for the product roadmap.

- Bridge the communication gap between technical and non-technical teams to ensure clarity in product development.

- Iterate products based on user feedback, data analysis, and evolving market trends to enhance the product's value proposition.

- Contribute to generating regular reports on key product metrics, user engagement, and performance.

- Participate in presenting findings and recommendations to various teams, fostering collaboration across teams.

- Contribute to shaping the long-term product strategy by identifying avenues for growth and innovation.

Must haves:

- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, computer science, or engineering.

- 5-8 years of overall experience with at least 3 years of experience in building platform products in a technology company

- Experience in credit card or UPI or related financial product platforms, ledger creation & management, payment/transaction processing, and B2B SaaS

- Well-versed in writing API specifications.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Empathy towards users and the capability to translate feedback into actionable product enhancements.

- A deep understanding of Falcon's product offerings and the value they bring to customers.

- Meticulous attention to detail for data analysis and defining precise product requirements.

- Familiarity with technical concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers.

- Inherent curiosity to explore user behaviour and stay informed about industry trends.

- Exceptional task management and prioritization skills, essential in a fast-paced environment.

Good to have:

- A master's degree in business or engineering.

- Experience in cybersecurity, particularly related to payment processing and data protection.

- Experience with customer journey mapping and user experience design.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial services industry.

- Experience in creating multi-country platform products
