Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Advisory & Strategy Development: Assist government clients in formulating and implementing export promotion strategies, trade policies, and incentive frameworks.
- Export Facilitation: Work closely with exporters, trade bodies, and government agencies to streamline export processes, address trade barriers, and enhance market access.
- Market Intelligence & Analysis: Conduct market research and trade data analysis to identify export opportunities, target markets, and sector-specific growth potential.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with industry associations, export councils, trade promotion organizations, and international trade bodies to foster partnerships and enhance exports.
- Capacity Building & Training: Design and deliver capacity-building programs for exporters, MSMEs, and government officials on global trade regulations, compliance, and export financing.
- Investment & Trade Promotion Events: Support the planning and execution of trade fairs, buyer-seller meets, B2B matchmaking events, and trade delegations.
- Regulatory & Compliance Advisory: Provide guidance on export documentation, customs procedures, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), and regulatory compliance.
- Project Management & Implementation: Lead and manage government export promotion projects, ensuring timely execution and impact assessment.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in export promotion, trade facilitation, or international trade consulting, preferably in a government advisory role.
- Educational Background: MBA (preferred) or a post-graduate degree in International Business, Economics, Trade, or related fields from a reputed institution.
- Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of export policies, trade agreements, global market trends, and sector-specific export potential.
- Government & Industry Interface: Prior experience working with government agencies, export councils, or international trade bodies.
- Analytical & Research Skills: Strong ability to analyze trade data, market trends, and policy impacts.
- Communication & Negotiation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Project Management: Proven track record of leading projects, working with cross-functional teams, and delivering results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working with DGFT, EXIM Bank, EPCs, ITPO, or similar export-related organizations.
- Exposure to export incentives, duty drawbacks, SEZs, and FTAs.
- Experience in MSME export promotion and international trade facilitation.
