Key Responsibilities:
Internal Communications:
- Develop and implement tailored internal communication strategies for assigned business units, CoEs, or functions within the Digital ecosystem.
- Act as a strategic communications advisor to internal stakeholders, understanding their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Create high-quality communication materials, including newsletters, emails, presentations, intranet content, and digital assets.
- Manage end-to-end communications for internal campaigns, from ideation through execution and measurement.
- Collaborate with leadership to craft compelling messaging that aligns with Carrier's vision, values, and strategic objectives.
- Enhance employee engagement by promoting key initiatives, events, and organizational updates through innovative communication channels.
External Communications:
- Support external communications efforts, including social media posts, press releases, and public-facing content.
- Coordinate with the global communications team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Digital Team, including business unit leaders, CoE heads, function leads and project managers.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for communication needs within the assigned portfolio.
Content Development & Distribution:
- Develop engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences, using a variety of formats such as videos, blogs, infographics, and podcasts.
- Oversee the maintenance and updating of internal communication channels, including intranet pages and digital displays.
Measurement & Reporting:
- Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and initiatives.
- Regularly analyze data and generate insights to improve communication approaches.
- Provide clear, data-driven reports to leadership, showcasing communication impact and engagement trends.
Change Management & Culture Building:
- Support organizational change initiatives by creating communication plans that guide employees through transitions.
- Develop narratives and campaigns that reinforce Carrier's culture and core values.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in internal communications, preferably within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or large multinational organization.
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging communications.
- Experience managing communications across digital ecosystems, business units, and diverse functions.
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
- Proficiency in communication tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and internal communications platforms.
- Familiarity with external communications and PR practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of change management principles and experience supporting organizational change initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or exposure to a global, matrixed organizational structure.
- Prior experience in both internal and external communications roles.
- Certifications in communications, change management, or Agile methodologies are a plus.
