Gem Portal Expert (IT )
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented GeM Portal Executive to manage the end-to-end procurement activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bid submissions, catalog management, order processing, and ensuring full compliance with government procurement policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organization's profile on the GeM portal.
- Upload product and service catalogs, ensuring accurate specifications, pricing, and documentation.
- Identify relevant tenders, participate in bidding, and ensure timely submission of proposals.
- Coordinate with internal departments (sales, legal, finance, logistics) to gather documents required for bid participation.
- Track tender/bid status, clarify queries, and submit responses in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with GeM guidelines, contract terms, and service level agreements.
- Follow up on order processing, dispatch, invoicing, and payment realization.
- Maintain bid documents, correspondence, and audit-ready records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience working on the GeM portal.
- Proficient in documentation, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and tender/bid writing.
- Good understanding of government procurement policies and procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in handling central/state government clients.
- Familiarity with digital signatures, MSME registration, and compliance certifications (e.g., ISO, BIS).
