The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.

The Executive Director in IT Enterprise Platform and Product Engineering department is a strategic leader in Company's newly opened Hyderabad office. Our Global Capability Centers (GCC) in India are critical for driving innovation, and technology transformation to support global business functions. We are expanding our GCC in Hyderabad, India to drive operational efficiencies, enhance technology delivery, and enhance regional service resiliency.

The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Information Technology family, The Executive Director in IT Enterprise Platform and Product Engineering department will own the Hyderabad GCC and deliver on Company's IT strategy. In this role, you will work across all departments in IT to establish standard methodologies and capabilities and advance the DTCC Technology Strategy that aligns with Company's Strategic pillars. Strong working relationships are required and the ability to effectively implement change.

You will partner optimally with Senior Leadership to define and deliver appropriate solutions that are outstanding, secure and resilient. The ideal candidate would be a seasoned leader with GCC site operations and platform infrastructure delivery experience and has lead large-scale technology operations, built high-performing teams, and drove digital transformation within a financial services environment.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

GCC Site Leadership & Operations:

- Grow, lead and handle the Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, ensuring alignment with global business objectives.

- Establish and scale operational capabilities across technology, risk, compliance, and support functions.

- Develop a strong governance framework to ensure operational resilience, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

- Foster a high-performance culture, driving talent acquisition, retention, and upskilling initiatives.

- Collaborate with international collaborators to identify innovative capabilities and services that can be seamlessly transitioned, ensuring full accountability within the GCC.

Platform Infrastructure Delivery:

- Develop a positive relationship with business line leaders, IT members, and the operations team. Understand the business/process making sure the technology delivery is seamless.

- Lead all aspects of the design, implementation, and management of infrastructure platforms supporting the firm's technology ecosystem.

- Drive cloud adoption, automation, and modernization of legacy infrastructure to improve agility and efficiency.

- Collaborate with global technology teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions.

- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements

- Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of platform infrastructure through strategic vendor partnerships and service delivery models.

- Serve as a Change Agent who brings a sense of urgency and can mobilize resources and implement initiatives on time.

- Build and handle the technology budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring efficient solutions.

- Communicate technical issues to a non-tech audience and to be an effective bridge from business to technology.

- Effectively plan and track multiple large and/or sophisticated projects and communicate status to management and project teams. Identify problem areas and alternative solutions.

- Listen, learn, adapt, share, and advance ideas that support the vision of a premier infrastructure.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in technology infrastructure, GCC leadership, or financial services operations.

- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

- Demonstrated success in leading IT infrastructure, IT budgets, software development and systems architecture.

- Deep understanding of technology trends and standard methodologies

- Strong critical thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into effective technology strategies.

- Consistent track record of successfully leading large-scale technology projects, delivering results on time and within budget.

- Prior Financial Services experience is highly preferred. Alternatively, must have prior experience for working in a regulated environment and managing / partnering with industry regulators and experience leading and maintaining a very strong control environment.
