Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly creative, results-driven, and experienced Social Media Manager to lead our talent-focused social media strategy.
This role is a unique blend of brand management, talent relations, and digital marketing.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to amplify the personal brands of our key talents, drive engagement, and grow their audiences across all major platforms.
This role requires a deep understanding of the creator economy, a finger on the pulse of social media trends, and a proven track record of managing and growing influential social media presences.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy for our talent roster, aligning with individual brand goals and overall company objectives.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify new social media trends, platforms, and opportunities for talent growth.
- Create detailed content calendars for each talent, including content themes, campaigns, and key posting times.
Content Creation & Management:
- Collaborate directly with talents to conceptualize, produce, and edit high-quality social media
content (videos, photos, graphics, stories, etc.
- Oversee content production from ideation to final delivery, ensuring brand consistency and quality.
- Manage and schedule content across various platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), and Facebook.
Audience Engagement & Growth:
- Monitor and engage with comments, messages, and mentions to foster a strong community around each talent's brand.
- Identify and implement strategies to grow audience reach, engagement, and follower count.
- Analyze performance data to optimize content, identify what resonates with the audience, and refine future strategies.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics (reach, engagement, impressions, follower growth, etc.) on a regular basis.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data to improve social media performance.
- Present monthly/quarterly performance reports to stakeholders and talent teams.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all social media-related matters for our talents.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, PR, and talent management, to ensure a unified approach.
- Stay up-to-date with platform algorithm changes and best practices, and educate the team and talents on new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 4 to 5 years of professional experience as a Social Media Manager, with specific experience managing social media for individuals, creators, or public figures.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies that resulted in significant audience growth and engagement.
- Expert-level knowledge of all major social media platforms and their respective analytics tools (e.g., Creator Studio, YouTube Analytics, TikTok Business Suite).
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality, engaging content, with proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro).
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, SEO, and audience targeting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse personalities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a passion for the creator and influencer space
