Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for both academic and non-academic roles.
- Forecast staffing needs in collaboration with department heads and leadership to align with institutional goals.
Employer Branding & Sourcing:
- Design and execute employer branding initiatives to position the institution as a preferred employer.
- Utilize diverse sourcing methods (job portals, social media, networking, referrals, academic institutions) to attract top candidates, especially for hard-to-fill positions.
Recruitment & Selection Process:
- Manage end-to-end hiring (job posting, screening, structured interviews, selection, offer negotiation, onboarding).
- Work closely with academic deans, department heads, and HR teams to understand specific hiring needs.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.
Stakeholder Management & Coordination:
- Coordinate with external recruitment agencies, academic institutions, and hiring committees for efficient hiring.
- Facilitate clear communication between candidates and internal teams throughout the selection process.
HRIS, Recruitment Analytics & Compliance:
- Utilize HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline recruitment operations.
- Track and analyze recruitment KPIs, generating reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, accreditation requirements, and institutional policies
- Maintain a database of potential candidates for future hiring needs.
Onboarding, Employee Engagement & Retention:
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Collaborate with HR to develop retention strategies and engagement initiatives.
- Support professional development programs to enhance faculty and staff growth.
Preferred Skills:
- Candidates with hands-on experience in educational institutions or university recruitment are highly preferred.
- Knowledge of accreditation and compliance requirements for faculty hiring.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment drives and hiring projects simultaneously.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years in faculty recruitment, academic hiring, or talent acquisition.
