Equity Research Role - Buy Side Fund

Firm: A large well known AMC

Exp: 1-4 years in equity research (sell side/buy side)

Sectors Preferred: Any

Job Description :

- Maintain the continuous update of the data pertaining to all Stocks under coverage - Maintenance research

- Analyze new scrip's for investments - New Research

- Analyze data as and when required by the Fund Manager - Specific Analysis

- Support Fund Managers in attaining objectives of the schemes

- Expected to suggest Over-weighting, under weighting of sectors & companies from time-to-time

- Maintaining the financial, quantitative, qualitative, market related data of all the stocks of their sectors

- Periodically analyzing the macro economic factors that influence the sector

- Selling the stock ideas to fund management team; includes effectively communicating the things that analyst comes across and effectively articulating the assumptions, theories and other relevant factors that went into valuations

- Developing proprietary models peculiar to the sector for analyzing the existing companies and forecasting for the next 3 years on a rolling basis

- Building up a distinctive information advantage that is not available to competition and street
