Emerson - Pricing Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing market trends, competitive pricing strategies, and customer data to develop and maintain optimal pricing models that align with business goals and maximize profitability.

As a Pricing Analyst, you will collaborate closely with sales, finance, marketing, and product teams to support data-driven pricing decisions. Your expertise in interpreting complex data sets and creating actionable insights will directly contribute to revenue growth and margin improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze pricing data, market conditions, and competitor trends to support pricing decisions.

- Develop and maintain pricing models, tools, and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement pricing strategies for new and existing products or services.

- Monitor price performance, track key pricing KPIs, and recommend adjustments to enhance profitability.

- Support annual and quarterly pricing reviews, financial planning, and product launches with accurate pricing insights.

- Identify pricing opportunities and risks through detailed variance and margin analysis.

- Assist in pricing governance processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and approval flows.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in a pricing, finance, or data analysis role.

- Proficient in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with ERP and pricing tools (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
