Elevation Capital - Leadership Role - Supply Chain Operations - D2C

This role is with one of our portfolio company.

Responsibilities:

- Leading the strategic and operational aspects of the company's supply chain to ensure efficient product delivery to customers. This includes managing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and logistics to warehousing and distribution, with a focus on optimizing processes, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals, including growth and profitability targets.

- This role focuses on building strong supplier relationships, optimizing logistics, and maintaining high service standards for India and the US markets.

- Lead strategic sourcing, price negotiations, and supplier relationship management.

- Align procurement with demand forecast, ensuring healthy inventory levels across regions.

- Drive cost reduction initiatives and alternate vendor development for high-risk SKUs.

- Oversee multi-location warehousing operations with a focus on fill rate, dispatch TAT, and SLA adherence.

- Implement digital tools, dashboards, and process improvements for real-time supply chain visibility.

Requirements:

- 10 to 15 years of experience in supply chain, purchase, and operations roles, preferably in consumer brands (FMCG, Pharma, D2C).

- Strong business acumen with deep functional expertise in purchase and logistics.

- Excellent negotiation and vendor development capabilities with exposure in the US market.

- Strategic thinker with sharp execution focus and cross-functional leadership skills.

- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure startup/scale-up environment.

- Experience of delivering end-to-end launches of new products at a consumer/D2C startup.
