
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager Human Resources to lead strategic HR initiatives, oversee talent management, and drive employee engagement. The ideal candidate will partner with leadership to align HR practices with business goals, ensuring a productive, engaged, and future-ready workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and practices aligned with organizational objectives
- Lead Performance Management System (PMS) processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and performance reviews
- Conduct competency mapping and drive talent development initiatives
- Oversee compensation and benefits management ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity
- Design and implement employee engagement and retention strategies
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes
- Partner with leadership to build workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development strategies
- Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements related to HR and labor laws
- Drive HR digital transformation initiatives and HR analytics for decision-making
- Support leadership in change management, culture building, and organizational transformation
