About the Role:
- We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Supply Planning & Demand Planning Functional Consultant to join our Oracle SCM team.
- In this role, you will work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams to implement, support, and enhance Oracle Cloud Planning modules, including Supply Planning, Demand Management, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, deep understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional configurations within Oracle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional Consulting & Solution Delivery Lead or support end-to-end implementations, upgrades, or rollouts of Oracle Cloud Supply Planning and Demand Planning modules.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional configurations.
- Configure Oracle Fusion modules such as: Supply Planning Demand Management Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Planning Central Design, test, and implement planning strategies including forecast consumption, planning policies, safety stock, ATP rules, and supply-demand pegging.
- Work on MRP, constrained/unconstrained planning, supply chain orchestration, and plan simulations.
- Business Process Analysis & Optimization Map customer business processes to Oracle best practices and identify areas for process improvement.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and create functional design documents (FDDS), user stories, and test scripts.
- Guide clients through UAT (User Acceptance Testing), training sessions, and knowledge transfer.
- Stakeholder & Project Management Work with cross-functional teams including procurement, inventory, manufacturing, finance, and IT.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment of system functionality with business needs.
- Support hypercare and post-go-live stabilization.
- Reporting & Integration Collaborate with BI/reporting teams to provide OTBI, BI Publisher, or custom analytics for planning dashboards and reports.
- Work with technical consultants on data integration (FBDI, ADFDI) and interface designs between planning and other Oracle modules (e.g., Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Order Management).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle SCM Functional Consultant with at least 2+ years on Oracle Fusion Cloud Planning modules.
- Strong functional knowledge in Supply Chain Planning processes including supply planning, demand forecasting, safety stock management, and inventory policies.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Supply Planning, Demand Management, and optionally S&OP.
- Ability to create and execute functional design documents, test scenarios, and configuration workbooks.
- Understanding of key Oracle SCM modules such as Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Order Management.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud implementation tools such as FBDI, ADFDI, HDL, and REST APIs.
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
Preferred / Good to Have:
- Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud Certification.
- Knowledge of Demand Forecasting Algorithms, seasonality, and planning analytics.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology in ERP implementation projects.
- Experience with international/multi-organization supply chains.
