EDEGE - Operations Director

As an Operations Leader at EDGE, you will drive critical government interactions across the state ensuring seamless operations. In this role, you will lead high level decision making with officials at all tiers influencing strategic choices that directly impact our project success. Key Responsibilities

- Lead and scale high performing ground operations teams across multiple geographies, driving ownership, accountability and execution excellence aligned with organizational objectives.

- Design and institutionalize robust SOPs to enable seamless on-ground operations and consistent service delivery across all regions.

- Oversee end-to-end project implementation from planning to execution - ensuring all operational milestones, quality standards and cost targets are met within defined timelines.

- Proactively identify and resolve on-ground bottlenecks by collaborating with operations managers, vendors and cross-functional teams translating field insights into scalable process improvements.

- Serve as the key liaison with government offices at the state and local levels, ensuring smooth coordination for permissions, clearances and any regulatory dependencies essential for operational continuity.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.

- 4-8 years of operations management experience with a proven track record of leading teams and managing project execution.

- Ability to effectively liaise with government offices and handle complex regulatory processes.

- Experience working in rural areas is a plus, Not Mandatory.

- Must be comfortable with frequent travel across assigned regions within the state.

- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive strategic decisions based on on-ground insights.
