About the Role:
We are a fast-growing wellness brand looking for an Ecommerce Manager to drive growth across leading online marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, and other digital platforms. The role requires someone who understands the ecommerce ecosystem deeply, can manage P&L independently, and scale business sustainably while building strong platform relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L Ownership: Drive topline and bottom-line performance for ecommerce channels; manage budgets, margins, and profitability.
- Marketplace Management: Handle daily operations, promotions, cataloging, product listings, pricing, and visibility across Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, etc.
- Ecosystem Knowledge: Leverage strong networks with category managers, account managers, and ecommerce partners to drive growth.
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute channel-specific strategies to maximize reach, revenue, and market share.
- Data & Insights: Track sales trends, consumer behavior, competitor activity, and campaign performance to take data-driven decisions.
- Brand Presence: Ensure best-in-class representation of the brand across platforms through SEO-rich listings, A+ content, and brand stores.
- Promotions & Campaigns: Plan and execute key sales events, brand days, and platform-led campaigns.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Team Management (if applicable): Lead and mentor a small team/agency partners to deliver on business goals.
Key Requirements:
- Ecommerce Ecosystem Knowledge: Prior experience with Amazon/Flipkart ecosystem (brand/seller/vendor/agency side). Strong network with platform stakeholders is highly preferred.
- P&L Experience: Must have independently managed P&L for ecommerce business.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Leadership experience in managing teams or agencies.
- Prior account management experience (marketplaces or D2C).
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in ecommerce, preferably in wellness, beauty, personal care, or FMCG.
- MBA or relevant degree preferred.
