Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Ecommerce Manager to lead and manage our digital commerce strategy across leading online marketplaces and D2C platforms. This is a high-ownership role that requires expertise in online merchandising, digital marketing, sales forecasting, and stakeholder management within the beauty and fashion industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving revenue, customer acquisition, and brand growth in the online ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketplace & Platform Management:
- Lead day-to-day operations and relationships with key ecommerce platforms including Nykaa, Myntra, Tata Cliq, Ajio, Vanity Wagon, and others.
- Ensure stock accuracy, timely order fulfillment, and platform-specific performance optimization.
- Negotiate and coordinate promotions, campaigns, and merchandising placements with platform partners.
Revenue Growth & Expansion:
- Define and execute strategies to drive traffic, improve conversions, and maximize revenue.
- Identify and onboard new marketplace opportunities to expand digital footprint.
- Own sales targets and P&L accountability for ecommerce performance.
Campaign Planning & Coordination:
- Partner with the brand and marketing teams to develop engaging campaigns tailored for each platform.
- Oversee creation of high-quality product listings-images, content, SEO-rich descriptions, and A+ content.
Analytics, Forecasting & Reporting:
- Analyze platform-wise sales, traffic, and inventory data to guide decision-making.
- Generate regular performance reports and provide actionable insights.
- Forecast sales, manage stock projections, and monitor ROI on platform activations.
- Brand Representation & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the digital face of the brand with key platform partners.
- Ensure consistent brand storytelling across all digital touchpoints.
- Champion digital innovation and initiate strategic projects like loyalty programs or Gift with Purchase (GWP) campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in ecommerce management, preferably within beauty, skincare, or luxury products.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, sales dashboards, and inventory planning tools.
- Hands-on experience with Nykaa, Myntra, Tata Cliq, or similar ecommerce platforms.
- Sound knowledge of digital marketing, product merchandising, and consumer buying behavior.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a high-growth, high-pressure environment.
