E-commerce Lead
Location: Ahmedabad (Head Office)
Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer
About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and growth-oriented E-commerce Lead to drive the expansion of our digital sales channels across 15+ marketplaces, including Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Myntra, and others. This is a P&L ownership role offering high visibility and the opportunity to shape the digital future of a fast-growing brand in the personal care/FMCG space.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & P&L Ownership
- Own the complete P&L of Personal Care/D2C e-commerce vertical.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and business sustainability across all digital platforms.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and implement annual sales targets, growth plans, and resource allocation aligned with company goals.
- Forecast category trends and marketplace dynamics to guide decision-making.
Marketplace & Partner Management
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key e-commerce partners like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and Nykaa.
- Ensure optimum brand visibility, listings, and promotional presence across platforms.
Team Leadership
- Lead a cross-functional team comprising key account managers, operations staff, and marketing professionals.
- Align team performance with short- and long-term business objectives.
Channel Marketing
- Drive merchandising, content strategy, branding, and campaign planning to improve customer engagement and conversions.
Operations Oversight
- Oversee order fulfilment, inventory health, return rates, and customer experience metrics.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to maintain service excellence.
Data & Analytics
- Track performance KPIs, competitor activity, and category trends to inform strategic pivots.
- Run experiments and implement data-backed decisions to optimise performance.
Process Excellence
- Build and scale systems and processes to enable faster, smarter decision-making.
- Champion innovation through tech adoption, automation, and best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience managing e-commerce or key accounts, preferably in personal care or FMCG.
- MBA from a Tier-1 institute with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce operations, stock management, and digital channel dynamics.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external relationships.
- Strong command over MS Excel, Amazon listing tools, PPC, A+ Content, promotions, and ERP systems.
- Self-driven with a passion for growth, experimentation, and performance.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
Working knowledge of SEO, content creation, and Amazon keyword optimisation.
Experience managing pan-India or regional e-commerce portfolios.
